While I waited in line, an older man in a suit came in behind me, pacing around looking for the restroom, she stopped making sandwiches to bring him the key to the restroom before he even said anything. Trust me I realize she was swamped with customers and the only person working, I used to make sandwiches and it's not an easy position to be in with a line out the door. All of those people received their sandwiches with great service to my knowledge. I drove across town and waited in the car because it was cold out, I saw she was helping a Mother & two kids, and there was two additional male customers in line. She took my order for 1 sandwich and was curt, hung up with "I'll have it ready soon, Ma'am, click". I told her I was driving, she explained she was with a customer and to hold on. The woman working asked me to make the order online. Tonight (December 2021) around 6 pm I called from across town to make a phone order. Everyone I saw was masked, no indoor eating and the tables outside were well spaced out. Additionally, they have GREAT Covid precautions. The staff was friendly and service was fast. They always have a great selection of their merch and local items to take home - although it might seem slightly pricey these are all excellent quality and worth every penny. If you are new to the area or just visiting, make sure to take a jar of larrupin sauce home and a bottle of their slug slime! It is 100% worth it. They have an awesome menu with lots of different options but you can also make your own. So many unique things about this place - I love that they make ‘slugs’ which are long bagels instead of circular, the home made everything bagel seasoning that they refer to as ‘slug slime’ is spectacular, and the fact that you can get larrupin (local dill mustard that is amazing).
